Needleworks Pictures began life as an independent film studio in 1996 and has evolved along with the interests of founder, Mathew Needleman, to become one of the premiere educational destinations on the internet. With approximately twenty educational web sites, several software applications, and award winning student films, Needleworks Pictures is visited worldwide and used in thousands of classrooms daily.

 

Mathew Needleman is a teacher of K-5, literacy coach, intervention coordinator, Apple Distinguished Educator, and educational technology consultant. He has been integrating video production in the elementary classroom for over a decade. He holds a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and a California Administrative Credential. He has provided professional development for Antioch University, Los Angeles Unified School District, Los Angeles County Office of Education, and Apple Computer.
