Comments: After college I became an elementary school teacher and taught 3rd grade for about 12 years. Now that I have 3 kids my days of working away from home are put on hold for as long as possible. I did make some great friends while at CES and I would like to reconnect.

1990's Oakland. 2000 I moved to Eugene, Oregon, a past its prime mill town disguised as a college town harboring a strange amalgam of hippies, anarchists, christians, pirates , athletics fanatics, reggae musicians, and anthroposophists. I have two sons (Myles and Sean), an apartment cluttered with books and scraps of paper, a car that barely runs smelling of sandalwood and moldy leaves, some poems translated into Japanese, and more questions than can ever be answered, but still I've managed to avoid paying back any of my student loans. The other day I saw a bumper sticker that said, "Remember who it was you wanted to be." After I got over my initial visceral response, keyed as it was to some early childhood longings for an ecstatic connection to the Great Mystery, I realized that I was tremendously happy that I had not become who I had wanted to be, as this is often predicated upon groping blindly through the brambles of someone else's propaganda. I thank my teachers and fellow students for the questions they engendered in me rather than the answers they provided. See you on the radio.

I went to CES in 1984/85 for the 8th grade but then moved to Santa Monica High School until graduation. My older brother David also went to school with me that year as a 10th grader. I had a lot of fun and would like to find out how the other members of Divinity are doing.

What a funny bunch we were, eh? Strongest memories were of Mr Fawcett's classes, but Ms Williams, Mr Scholl and Mr Hinson figure as well.I'm doing well and glad to hear so many of you are too. I'm living in Oman at the moment (10pm, 3 May 2007) with my lovely hubby and daughter (4 and a half). I've lived in a few too many countries (I teach English) and am hoping we'll be here for a while. I hate packing and it's a such nice place.
