(Comments) I attended CES from the 5th through the 12th grade and hated it. I really wanted to go to a "real" school. Looking back, however, I am really happy to tell people that I went to LACES. My class was the first to graudate from the Pasture Jr. High campus which was kind of cool. Anyway, I guess I've said enough... Worked in technology for years up in SF, movedback down to LA in 2000 and quit the corporate world to get back into acting/performing. Started teaching to earn a flexible income and fell in love with it - who knew?! I now work for LAUSDas a roaming Theatre teacher and LOVE it. Live in Long beach with me, myself and I, do a lot of plays and enjoy pilates, meditation, radical, creative self-expression and independent thinkers. I can't even begin to describe how much of an impact CES had on my life.

Comments: I went to LACES from 5-7th graade, then decided I wanted to go back to my old friends and attended John Burroughs Jr. High. Then went on to attend BH High School (not proud of that!) because I did not want to go to Fairfax High- wish I would have come back to CES! I have amazing memories of those 3 years and learned so much- and I believe it shaped so much of who I am today.... thanks to all the great teachers, supportive learning environment and awesome kids from all over. I am only sorry now I did not stay longer....
I'll never forget those bus rides everyday... having to sit 3 to a seat and all the crazy fun times on the bus, fun times with the Arquette family in drama- especially Robert (now Alexis)! The poetry in residence work we did was amazing- I still have the poetry books. I can remember names and even see some faces of my old friends. Thanks for this opportunity to re-connect!
