How Management Relates to Technology Integration
Teachers with strong classroom management skills and a little bit of technology know how are able to easily integrate technology into the curriculum. Conversely, teachers with lots of technology know how may be unable to integrate technology in a classroom setting without having the skills to manage a classroom of students.
What Are the Other Kids Doing While We're at the Computer
Not every new skill can be taught in a whole group. Teachers need to have a plan set up for students to work independently. I have released a podcast on setting up Independent Work Time, during which students are busy working while you work with a small group possibly learning a new technology skill.
